We were recently featured on Setting Mind.com. They wrote an article about our founder Niki Marie Groulx. It covers how she makes her work, how she got into making ceramics, and why she started Token Home Goods.
You can the full article here:
Setting Mind - How Niki Marie Groulx of Token Home Goods Handmade her Ceramics.
Founded in 2018, Setting Mind is a multimedia company based in Toronto, Canada that embraces the beauty of life and the extraordinariness of human beings.
]]>(Formally Niki Marie Ceramics) This idea of a rebrand and name change has been in my thoughts for a few years now. While I liked having the personal element of my name being part of Niki Marie Ceramics I wanted a new feel and to introduce some new products and accessories to compliment my ceramics. After a lot of brainstorming Token was born!
A token of appreciation is a small act of kindness that shows gratitude, the word “Token” represents an object or visible representation of this act.
All of the ceramics you will find here are made by me Niki Marie Groulx in small batches with love and care. The other products are thoughtfully sourced from individuals and companies that make quality products they proudly stand behind.
A lot of research went into sourcing the different products offered in our shop. Some products are made by local artists and makers like Woven Handmade located in Collingwood, ON who hand makes the baskets we offer. Some are sourced from overseas like the linens which are handmade in Lithuania. Some are made exclusively for our brand like the candles and soaps (handmade in Canada with natural ingredients) and our line of organic loose leaf tea (blended and packaged in Canada).
We plan to keep adding unique items to the shop to offer the perfect collection of home goods to spoil yourself and others all while supporting small businesses, makers, and artists.
Stay tuned for more!
